A command line program (Linux and Windows) to speak text from. Speech is a text to speech technology on macOS that allows users to quickly transform written text into audible words. The speech is clear, and can be used at high speeds, but is not as natural or smooth as larger synthesizers which are based on human speech recordings. I can't wait until Leopard to try this out with the new improved voice. This allows many languages to be provided in a small size.

The built-in voices in Mac OS X will speak the language for you. Then choose the Edit: Speech, and choose Start Speaking from the sub-menu. Paste the translated words into that document and highlight the whole sentence. Copy the resulting other language and open a new TextEdit document. Open up the Translation Widget and convert what you wish to say to the language being used.
